What we keep

• The email address you use to sign in, and the first name you give us.
• That you told us you are 18 or over.
• Your questions, the moment and the place each was asked (a town and its position on the map, which the chart needs), and the evidence readings written for them.
• Whether you are an iHorary Plus member, and your receipts. Payments are taken by our payment provider; we never see or keep your card number.
• Feedback taps, outcome records when you add them, and what you write to us when you contact us.
• The names, birth details, event dates, times and places you save in Charts, including country charts, their sources and time reliability, and any readings saved with them.
• Your chart notes, your own interpretations, tags, linked records, chart settings and defaults, and which records you recently opened.
• Anything saved on the earlier version of the app, like your birth details or the people you added. Charts uses retained records where available; they stay in your account, and in the copy of your data you can download, until you delete your account.

Where the place comes from

The place you ask from is the one you choose. Until you choose one, we suggest the town your internet connection points to. If you tap “Use where I am now”, your device’s location is used to find your town.

Who helps us run iHorary, and where

• Your account and everything in it are kept on servers in the United States, and the app runs on servers in the United States.
• Payments for iHorary Plus are taken by a payment provider in the United States.
• The evidence story is written from your saved chart. When AI is used to put chart findings into plain words, your question and those findings are sent to an AI service in the United States. It does not give an answer or decide an outcome. A question in another language is sent to it to be put into English for you to confirm.
• Emails (your sign-in codes, receipts, and news if you want it) are sent through an email service in the United States.
• An error-reporting service in the United States helps us find and fix problems.
• Pages reach you through a network with locations around the world, which sees your internet address so it can deliver them.
• If you live in the UK or the European Union, this means your data is handled in the United States.

Analytics

We use our own product analytics to understand how iHorary is used, and a third-party analytics service that receives a shortened page address and a shortened referrer, never the text of your questions.

Your account

You can download a copy of your data and delete your account. Account data is removed within 30 days. Old question text from the previous site is kept for research after account details are removed.
