How the lost object finder works
The tool casts a horary chart for the current moment and your selected place. For your own misplaced possession, the second house and its ruler signify the object. Eight sign testimonies are counted; a unique elemental majority supplies one broad quarter and one broad kind of place.

Method: William Lilly, Christian Astrology, Book II, Chapter XXXII, pp. 202–204. Mychal A. Bryan is used as an editorial conflict check and corroborates the second-house assignment, but does not supply the public location rules.
Example
A unique fire majority gives east and a wall, partition or heat clue. Choosing Vehicle may turn that into practical suggestions such as fixed trim or fittings, while east and the original place clue remain unchanged.
What this tool cannot do
- It is only for your own misplaced movable possession—not a person, pet, animal or suspected theft.
- It gives broad traditional search clues, not GPS precision, a map, distance, depth or timing.
- It does not predict recovery or provide a confidence score, and it does not use AI.
Lost object horary questions
Why does the tool use the second house?
In Lilly’s specific procedure for a querent’s own item that is hidden or mislaid, the second house and its ruler signify the possession.
Is the direction a compass bearing?
No. It is one broad quarter—north, south, east or west—from a traditional count of eight chart testimonies. If there is no unique majority, the tool gives no direction.
Does choosing Home, Work or Vehicle change the chart?
No. The choice only translates the same chart clue into practical search wording for that setting.
Can I use this for a missing person, pet or stolen property?
No. Those situations are outside this tool. Use appropriate real-world help and emergency or police services when safety or theft is involved.
